Diver Requirements

Advanced Open Water certification is required. Divers must have excellent buoyancy control and proper trim. The minimum age is 15 years.

Combo Description 

Two cenotes located on the Ejido Jacinto Pat land, past the Dos Ojos system. They are usually considered advanced cenotes because they are relatively enclosed, yet amazing, beautiful, and shallow at the same time. 

Taak Bi Ha 

Explore the most hidden gems of the Dos Ojos system. Taak Bi Ha, meaning "Hidden Route of Water", is a fully closed cavern accessed through a narrow vertical shaft where tanks are lowered on lines. Inside, artificial lights reveal a white cathedral of delicate stalactites, massive columns and roots hanging into crystal-clear water so clear it feels invisible.  

Taak Bi Ha has an amazing dry cavern that is great for photography and very scenic. The dive itself is quite impressive, with amazing rooms and views of the formations, as well as some tight spaces that challenge your buoyancy and kicking technique. 

Tak Be Luum 

After driving a couple of hundred meters farther into the same area, you will reach Tak Be Luum, where you can admire surreal and unique formations that resemble marshmallows stacked on top of one another. These unusual cones and stalactites reveal how the formations developed over a very long period of time.

Tak Be Luum, home to massive columns, the famous "roasted marshmallow" bubble formations and the passage called "The Gate of Hell". This is a very dark dive where you can spot blind cavefish, demanding excellent buoyancy and perfect body control due to fragile formations and shallow depth (max 6m / 20ft in Taak Bi Ha). 

Visit the famous “Dragon’s Egg” and feel as if you were inside a spaceship, surrounded by distinctive cone-shaped formations that may remind you of the atmosphere of the 1980s movie Alien.

Toward the end of the dive, surface inside the dry cavern gallery and admire its impressive dry stalagmite formations. After exploring this beautiful chamber, pass through the famous Xibalbá Door before continuing to the final part of the dive.

Maximum depth on both dives: 20 feet / 6 meters.
