How Your First Scuba Day Works
How Your First Scuba Day Works
The Discover Scuba Diving experience is the perfect way to try scuba diving for the first time in Playa del Carmen. Under the direct supervision of a PADI/SDI Instructor, you will learn the basic principles of scuba diving, become familiar with your equipment, and practice essential skills before heading into the ocean.
Your training begins with a short theory session followed by practice in a swimming pool or confined-water area. When you are ready, your instructor will guide your ocean dives on the reefs of Playa del Carmen, within the depth limits of your PADI or SDI introductory program.
This introductory scuba experience is not a scuba diving certification, but it provides a safe and supervised introduction to the underwater world. If you decide to continue your training, you can progress toward either the PADI or SDI Open Water Diver certification.
