Beautiful Caverns for Open Water Divers

Explore beautiful, spacious cenote caverns in the Riviera Maya, ideal for properly certified Open Water Scuba Divers with good buoyancy control and basic recreational diving skills. These cenote dives offer a unique opportunity to experience the crystal-clear freshwater environment, spectacular rock formations, natural light and the fascinating underwater world of the Mayan cenotes while remaining within an appropriate cavern-diving environment.

With a maximum depth of 40 feet (12 meters), these cenote cavern dives are designed for divers who are comfortable maintaining stable buoyancy, good trim and controlled finning techniques. Excellent buoyancy is particularly important in cenotes because it helps protect fragile formations, prevents unnecessary contact with the bottom and maintains visibility for the entire dive team.
